Going Gray in LA: Stories of Aging along Broadway (2016-2017) is a multi-platform storytelling project that explores the lives of a diverse population of older adults in the working-class and immigrant neighborhoods along iconic Broadway avenue in Los Angeles, California. The project was produced by my wife, journalist Ruxandra Guidi, and myself in collaboration with Los Angeles, CA based KCRW's Independent Producers Project, and funded by the Eisner Foundation. Content for this project was produced as twelve radio stories which aired on KCRW between September 2016 and March 2017; multiple online photo essays and additional photographic content; a community newspaper in four languages (English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese), a traveling photo exhibit, and community events. For more information, to hear the radio stories, or to view additional images and photo essays, please visit the project website
